Platelet Society Research Strategy
The Platelet Society exists to support research and education of platelet-related disorders. As the Society grows, accumulates funds and looks to start supporting research with funding, we have developed a research strategy document.
This is aimed to be a developing guide to how the Society will mange research funding and how the direction and strategy of funded prohects will be decided.It will be reviewed annually by the Executive Committe and updates made accordingly. We have aspirations to become members of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC – https://www.amrc.org.uk/) to ensure that research funds are used appropriately.
