Outreach and Public Engagement Funding Opportunity

Are you interested in doing outreach or public engagement related to platelets and platelet research?

With British Science Week running from 6-15th March we wanted to encourage our membership to take part in Outreach and Education activities to introduce the next generation of scientists to biomedical sciences and most importantly platelets, and platelet related research!

The Society is offering grants to support platelet related outreach and education projects. Funds (up to £300) are available to support costs associated with the production of promotional/marketing materials (such as banners, posters, fliers, etc.), activity materials, running costs, and travel/transport costs.

The call is now open – submit your applciation anytime, but act quickly, the final deadline for applications is the 1st September 2026!
