Mentoring

The Platelet Society is excited to announce the
re-establishment of its highly effective mentoring scheme for 2024, dedicated
to offering informal guidance and support to fellow society members. We welcome
applications from individuals at any career stage, whether in academia or
beyond.

In our efforts to create meaningful mentor-mentee
connections, we will carefully match individuals from various institutes based
on shared needs and objectives.

Getting Involved

As a mentor

If you are able to offer your advice and insight on your career journey thus far, whether it follows a conventional or unconventional path, then we encourage you to sign up. We are looking for help and advice in these kinds of areas:

• Career planning and development
• Networking and setting up collaborations
• Finding the right work/life balance
• Grant applications and publishing
