Early Career Researchers

Early Career Researchers

The Platelet Society exists to support research and education of platelet-related disorders. In doing so, focus and support for early career researchers (ECRs) is a primary aim. This is reflected in the composition of the executive committee with two dedicated ECR posts, and the Society sought to provide and increase the provisions available to our ECR members. The ECR working group was formed in 2020 by the appointment of 6 ECRs.

The group are working towards the development of new initiatives to engage with and support ECR Society members. These initiatives include mentoring and professional development, engagement with members, and knowledge transfer.

For general enquires on ECRs, please email us at info@plateletsociety.co.uk or ecr@plateletsociety.co.uk
