Women in STEM day

The Platelet Society is proud to join scientists from around the world in celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science on the 11th February.

Women in STEM day aims to highlight the fantastic achievements and contributions of women to innovative and ground breaking research, whilst providing a spotlight onto the challenges and biases that women face. 

The Platelet Society values its women members highly and we are proud to see members taking leadership roles as Trustees and Committee members, and in driving initiatives such as our ECR working group and the Clot Chat interview series.
