BHF report on haemostasis and thrombosis
The British Heart Foundation has today published a report on haemostasis and thrombosis research in the UK, over the last 60 years. This highlights the important role that the BHF and its funding has provided, but also highlights the key role that platelet research has had. One of the contributors to the report, Professor Steve Watson said “The support from the British Heart Foundation over the last 60 years has been critical in establishing the thrombosis and haemostasis community in the UK. You will see many familar names in the report, highlighting how the important work of many Platelet Society members has contributed to this success”.
You can read the report on the BHF website, including an overview of key discoveries in the field.
