Platelet Society / EuPLAN meeting - 4th - 6th September 2023

Please join us in Bristol for the 6th EUPLAN International Conference on September 4-6th 2023.

As you would expect this meeting will bring together senior and junior scientists in an informal atmosphere to discuss the latest research covering a broad range of topics in platelet and megakaryocyte biology, from basic science to recent advances in clinical studies.  We will have invited speakers providing state of the art lectures, a selection of oral presentations and a lively poster session.

So we hope to see you in Bristol where you can meet old friends and make new ones and help to further strengthen our fantastic European platelet community.

The full programme is now available (see below) and registration will close on the 31st July – Register now to make sure you dont miss out!

We look forward to meeting you in Bristol!

Registration is now closed

We are pleased to announce that the Platelet Society Summer School will be hosted by the University of Reading from the 6th – 8th July 2022.

The Summer School will introduce you to all aspects of platelet biology – introducing both the state-of-the art in platelet research, and how we study platelets and the processes in which they are involved.  We will be gathering together experts in platelet biology from across Europe who will give seminar-style presentations and open discussion sessions.  In addition to learning about techniques to study platelet biology – you will be able to try out some approaches in practical workshops.

So if you are new to platelet research, an established researcher or clinician who wants an update, or thinking about new ideas that involve platelets – you will be very welcome to join us.  Please have a look and the programme here.

The Summer School will take place on the beautiful parkland campus at the University of Reading.  Registration costs include all sessions, food, refreshments and 2 nights of on-site accommodation.

We look forward to seeing you in Reading in July!
