What The Platelet Charity does

• Raise Awareness of Platelet Function Disorders
• Raise funds for ground breaking research into platelet disorders improving diagnosis and treatments for sufferers
• Use donations from our fundraising to offer medical research grants providing valuable monies for equipment, clinical trials and vital research into platelet disorders
• Provide support for treatment centres in practical ways for both children and adults attending these centres for treatment and care.
• Offer information on the these disorders – both the ground breaking research that is being done and also providing facts for those suffering, caring for or wishing to help our cause.

We want to help people to lead as normal a life as possible, and hope that work of The Platelet Charity will help to do this.
