As Lecturer in Systems Biology, you will support teaching and research in this field. Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at regional, national and international levels.
We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate specialism in fields such as biological modelling and bioinformatics to model aspects of physiology and disease while also demonstrating a wide range of subject knowledge and ability to work in laboratories in a research or teaching capacity.
Experience of techniques relevant to systems biology and biological sciences and ability to teach across a range of topics including systems biology, cell biology, physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology are highly advantageous.
Successful candidates will contribute to our undergraduate programmes in Biological, Biomedical and Medical Sciences and our Foundation Year in Science. Strong research and pedagogic focus in subjects related to biological sciences is essential.
