As Lecturer in Computational Genomics, you will be able to demonstrate experience in teaching and research in the field of computational genomics. Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.
We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate specialism in bioinformatics applied to the biological and biomedical fields, and candidates that can demonstrate a wide range of subject knowledge. The idea candidate will have the ability to work in laboratories in a research and/or teaching capacity.
Experience of a range of techniques relevant to genomics and biological sciences and ability to teach across a range of topics that may include genomics, computational modelling, cell biology, chemistry and molecular biology would be highly advantageous.
